About us

This organization was established in 2003. The Asha Ki organization is a charitable social organization actively working in the field of Watershed, Water Conservation, women’s empowerment as well as overall rural development in recent years. In this period, we have carried out many activities with different departments like Agriculture, Jalyakta Ministry, etc. different schemes like Jalyukta Shiwar Program, Mahajal Program, Swarna Jayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana, National Urban Livelihood Mission, Integrated Watershed Program (IWMP) Swachha Bharat Mission 1 & 2, Atal Bhujal Yojana, Etc., & sectors in more than 15 districts of Maharashtra State and were awarded many times in various fields due to our quality work system over the last two decades.

The institution has been selected as a project implementer in the Integrated Watershed Development Program. We also work at a project training institute on the Jalyukta Shivar program. The organization works as a District Training Institute at the state level and the organization has been selected as a Watershed Training Organization (PTO) in which the Village Level Watershed Committee works in 9 districts. At the same time, Ashakiran M.V. Sanstha has been running Shelter for Homeless (Beghar Nivara Kendra) for the last 7 years for homeless people living in Akola city as well as a mental health program under Day-NULM at the district level.
